Mosquito Lagoon Florida
This past weekend a few of my friends and I went out to this great fishing spot called Mosquito Lagoon that is in Orlando, Florida. Part of the drive there is through the back roads looking out at miles of marsh. With the windows down and our Ranch Bucket hats on to see into the bright sun we trekked through this beautiful area. We made a quick stop to check out two huge alligators resting, but then they started fighting in the bank, so we ran back into the car.
We continued our drive for another twenty minutes or so, till we finally reached our beautiful destination. My friend started rigging the fishing rods and grabbing all the things we needed for a good fishing day. There was a quick trail to take out to open waters, with mangrove trees branching out along the bank. The water was calm, and the natural surroundings were beautiful.
The types of fish we were trying to catch were Reds, Snook, and Trout. Although when you are out in the open waters an knee high you can catch anything. That day we caught a nice size trout and decided to head back in since the wind was picking up. I cannot wait to head back out there for more adventurous fishing days with friends.
